This policy explains how appointment cancellations, rescheduling, deposits, diagnostic charges, parts orders, and refund requests are handled.
Please contact us as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. This helps us update the technician schedule and provide accurate information about any agreed charge.
Cancelling or Rescheduling a Booking
To cancel or reschedule, call or WhatsApp +971 54 150 8978 and provide the booking name, contact number, location, appliance type, and appointment details.
A requested change is effective when it has been acknowledged by Dubai Appliance Care. Sending a message outside normal response periods may not immediately update a technician already travelling to the location.
Before a Technician Is Dispatched
Where a visit is cancelled before technician allocation, travel, supplier purchase, or other chargeable preparation has begun, we will explain whether any previously collected amount remains refundable. The outcome depends on the agreed booking terms and work already completed.
Late Cancellations and Missed Access
A visit, travel, or diagnostic charge may apply if a technician has been dispatched, arrives at the confirmed location, cannot obtain access, cannot contact the customer, or the booking is cancelled after chargeable time or travel has begun. Any applicable charge should be communicated according to the booking circumstances.
Diagnostic and Inspection Charges
A diagnostic or visit charge covers time, travel, inspection, testing, and professional assessment. Once that service has been provided, the associated charge is generally not treated as refundable merely because the customer decides not to proceed with a repair or because the appliance is not economical or possible to repair.
Parts Orders and Deposits
Special-order, model-specific, non-returnable, or imported parts may require advance payment or a deposit. Refund availability depends on whether the supplier order can be cancelled, whether the part has shipped, supplier restocking conditions, and whether the part was specifically obtained for the customer’s appliance.
We will explain the known conditions before taking a parts deposit where practical. Supplier deductions, delivery charges, return costs, or non-refundable amounts may be deducted when they have already been incurred.
Completed Work and Refund Requests
If you believe completed work does not match the approved service, contact us promptly with the booking details, appliance information, explanation of the concern, and supporting photographs or video where useful. We may need reasonable access to inspect the appliance and review the service record.
Depending on the verified circumstances and applicable law, a suitable response may include clarification, further inspection, corrective work, replacement of an eligible part, account adjustment, partial refund, or another appropriate remedy. This policy does not promise an automatic refund for every complaint.
Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds may not be available for correctly supplied services, completed diagnosis, customer-approved work, supplier charges already incurred, damage caused after service, misuse, unsuitable utilities, unrelated faults, unauthorised third-party work, or inaccurate information provided before the visit.
Processing Approved Refunds
Approved refunds are normally returned through an appropriate available method. Processing time can vary depending on the payment method, bank, card provider, or service platform. We will communicate the available method and relevant details.
Legal Rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where applicable consumer-protection requirements provide a different outcome, those requirements will apply.
